As detailed in the prayer item regarding the Uyghur people in China, the persecution and genocidal repression of this ethnic and religious minority. Forcibly displaced and detained for “re-education,” they are exploited for forced labor—along with facing other kinds of human rights abuses. We do not want to even unintentionally be complicit in this evil through the goods that we buy. Therefore, use the link below to send an email to several major clothing retailers that have not done enough to ensure their products are not sourced from the Uyghur Region in China. And after you have signed and sent your emails to Zara, Nike, and Uniqlo, be sure to share them on social media encouraging others to do the same!
