Christian Solidarity Worldwide shared the story of Karen Niebles, a believer in Colombia who has suffered greatly for her faith. Karen and her husband were both evangelical pastors serving in a region of Colombia deeply affected by violence. Her husband was tragically killed in January 2025, and Karen was later threatened through rumors—forcing her to flee the area. After several months, she returned home with her family, but in October she was again directly threatened by armed men. Karen has now been forced to leave her home and is living in another town with her son, Emmanuel, and daughters Rosa and Laura. She is far from her mother and the rest of her family.
