Pastor Bakhrom Kholmatov of Sonmin Sonbogym Church was sentenced to three years in prison when officers found Christian songs on his computer and the book “More Than a Carpenter” in his home, declaring these to be "extremist materials” that suggest he planned to threaten to overthrow the government. Please write to the ambassador to procure his release, and include an encouraging note in the same envelope to be sent to Bakhrom at his unknown location.
