January 2024 Action

Since 2009 Pastor Lorenzo Rosales Fajardo has been a target of the Cuban government as a religious and community leader. In 2012 his home and church property were confiscated by the government. Then in July 2021 he was arrested for participating in peaceful protests. While imprisoned, he was beaten, lost a tooth due to the beating, and guards took turns urinating on his head. This was verified by one of the guards who anonymously repented of his participation. He was falsely accused of instigating violent protest and was sentenced to seven years in prison.

Write today to the Cuban Ambassador requesting the immediate release of Pastor Lorenzo and that all charges against him are dropped.

Write to:

Ambassador Lianys Torres Rivera
2639 16ST NW
Washington DC, 20009
