June 2018 Action Item

Abraham Ben Moses, also known as Saifuddin Ibrahim, was born into a large, prominent Muslim family that included Muslim teachers, as well as a founder of an important Muslim organization. In 2005 in an effort to disprove the Bible, Abraham began studying it and found himself convinced of the truth contained therein. He has since become a very well-known Christian evangelist and apologist in his home country of Indonesia—and already has paid a high price for his faith, as his first wife left him after his conversion. Most recently though, he was arrested in December 2017 after a video was circulated of him sharing the gospel with a taxi driver, and especially discussing Muslim teachings on marriage. This along with his own evangelism on the Internet was used to prosecute him on blasphemy charges, and in May 2018, Abraham Ben Moses was sentenced to four years in prison along with a 50 million rupiah fine ($3,500). Write to him today to encourage him as he faces this suffering for Christ!
