Leah Sharibu was one of 110 girls abducted from their school in Dapchi, Nigeria by the Boko Haram offshoot ISWAP in February 2018. After government negotiations, the girls were released a month later—except Leah, who refused to renounce her faith in Jesus. All these years later, Leah remains captive. Along with our ongoing prayers for Leah’s protection, provision, and freedom, we must also make sure that those in power are not allowed to sweep this horrible crime under the rug. Let’s write to President Biden and ask him to use the power and privilege of his position in the international community to urge the Nigerian government to secure the release of Leah.
